“My love is weary. My love is wandering.”
Does that not sound like how life goes? Love is good. Love makes you feel whole. But the singular person is always dealing with personal exploration, issues, that exist without the existence of a partner. So even with love, there are questions of where does it go, where does it take us???
The band just put out a new album, Ballads of the Revolution, and are touring in Japan and playing a couple of dates in the Pac. NW opening for Yo La Tengo. Please come EAST!!
I haven’t heard Jackie-O in a very, very long time. Thanks to the very, very, awesome Naturalismo for reminding me. This is less crazed JOMF. It’s more soothing than disorienting.
“Sunken silence. The buzzing bees.”

DTR Is The Answer
1) With a band name like that, I was expecting a song with balls.
2) If I wanted to listen to slow distorted guitar wailing, I’d travel back to 1969 and watch Neil Young record Everybody Knows this is Nowhere.
Am I wrong to be so bored by this track? Maybe there are much better ones by this band. Thanks for sharing though, anyway!

This song is far from boring! They do have much crazier songs though, so def. give the band a chance. It’s basically a revolving cast type band, with just one main person, Tom Greenwood.
As for Neil Young, if it were possible to travel back to 1969….I can’t even fathom. He’s the ultimate, for sure.
