Pitchfork has a decent interview with Dave Longstreth of Dirty Projectors. Not much comes out that hasn’t been out before but there are some nice moments of clarity. The interviewer is really trying hard to get at Longstreth as a person and songwriter, resulting in some really interesting explanations. This bit is cool:

“I like albums like In Utero that feel like a document of a live experience. But I like albums like Revolver that feel like an art project completely divorced from live playing.”
