The simple songs of POBPAH as I like to call them are really easy to listen to. Usually, I only especially like music that is complex, or that you have to actively listen to, but these guys have song structure and melody making down so pact that it’s hard to not congratulate them with a post. Maybe i’ll even go see them at the Cake Shop. I really recommend the Cake Shop for live shows, by the way. It’s dank and crowded and LOUD. Funny that that’s what I like in venue…..Do people agree that it’s the best place to see live music in 212 (Manhattan?)

The Pains of Being Pure at Heart: Young Adult Friction

There is one POBPAH song, “Come Saturday,” which you can stream at their MySpace, which sounds a lot like one of my favorite bands of the 90s, Fuzzy.
