Okay- even though this song by Brilliant Colors sounds a lot like 99 Luft Balloons” or whatever doesn’t take away from the garage-y poppy goodness of it. “Absolutely Anything” is jangly and fun, and has a little bit of a girl-group 90s sound. Obviously that’s a good thing.
This SF, California trio a Captured Tracks band, by the way, but their debut LP, “Introducing” is out on Slumberland on Nov. 3.
