Ben Gibbard says Jared Leto should stick to acting, but he fails to say what he should do! Cos he’s got no other “talent,” maybe? Seriously, Death Cab For Cutie had a couple of decent/interesting albums awhile back (i’m thinking “The Photo Album”) but since then i’d say their music has been pretty generic and whiny. Who is Gibbard to bash a fellow musician?
As Spinner point out though, Gibbard himself is marrying an actress turned musician, his counterpoint in saccharin-tweedom, Zooey Deschanel. How is her sitch different?

Well, when you have no talent I guess it’s hard to identify it in others. Jared has an amazing voice with more talent than Gibbard could ever hope to have. Talk about a hypocrite.

Jealous is he? Ive never heard of him so he cant be that good. Jared has everything going for him…looks, talent, personality, smash hit movies and music, thousands of fans who adore him and his band, etc… I dont think I need to say anymore!

If you talk shit about an awesome musician who just happen to have acting as a side-job to make some extra cash, you can’t have a high IQ if you’re marrying another actor/musician because wouldn’t the same apply for HER? Or is it different for boys and girls?
